Computer always freezes.I need tons of help stopping this problem.

Basically my computer will freeze after some period of use. Sometimes right after I start it up it will go two minutes, other times it will not freeze for a few hours. To keep my computer in shape I run norton antivirus, Ad-aware, Crapcleaner and Spybot search and destroy, but the computer still freezes. Can you guys help me with this problem? :D Please. :D
 
Did you build the computer? Also, answer Lord Anthrax's question. My first guess would be a problem with the power supply.
 
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I had the same exact problem with my computer. What I eventually figured that had happened was that when Windows had originally been installed, some of it must have gotten corrupted somehow, and then it would freeze, exactly as you are describing. I re-installed Windows on the computer, and no more freezing!!! Sorry that you have to re-format, though :(
