Computer Boot Up Message

Hi

Can someone out there help me please, I have just had a computer rebuild and at the same time installed Windows 11 Pro.

I have Bitdefender installed and ever time I boot the computer up I get this message:
Online threat prevention, msedge.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an expired certificate to deff.nelreports.net.

We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since websites must renew their certificates with a certification authority to stay current and outdated security certificates represent a risk.

How can I prevent this message from opening up every time I boot the computer up?

I have never used MS Edge preferring to use FireFox or Chrome as my browsers.

Whatever someone suggests, I’d really appreciate it if you can talk me through it as I’m really not that good when it comes to changing things on the computer, I just more or less use them.

Thanks again

Clive

You can try checking startup tab in task manager to see if edge is starting and disable it and see if that stops it.
