it should do...
check Here for step by step instructions.

Yes they will go together.
In a few weeks Bulldozer FX cpu's should be available. Might as well wait and see on the cpu. Get AM3+ socket motherboard.
DDR3 1600 is pretty cheap and BD supports higher speed than that / 1866 /.
Suggest: if after everything an SSD can be budgeted, then that for the OS/someprograms and the 2TB for storage. Otherwise a smaller drive for the operating system.

what are you planning to do with this as there is most likely a much more cost effecient build we can put together, but mainly being an am3+ mobo and a higher quality one too, the mobo is no place to sacrifice on

Ehh... I want to use this computer for: gaming, design work, video and sound edditing, and general home use. but I want it to be fast and efficient, thanks

I Already have a case, and a graphics card and power supply that a friend is giving me, I want to spend less than 300pounds, thanks

people have always been telling me that its cheaper to build, so i thought i'd give it a shot (this is my first time)

would be nice to know the exact parts he's giving you, at least the case format, atx or matx as that chenges the motherboard we pick, and won't you also need an os so it will boot?

this should work but i'd still like to know what you will be putting it in as that might change the mobo, and if you can deal with 1tb i'd strongly recomend using a samsung f3 1tb, it will be a good bit faster than this f4, and again, you will prob need a windows oem 64-bit disk so it will have a operating system

yeah, I'll go buy either Vista or Win7, emmmm.. I think the case is an old Packard Bell iMedia case, im not too sure. and the graphics card is some Nvidia one, not to sure, but I was hoping if I have less than 300pounds spent i could buy one, thanks

Thanks! I can deal with 1tb :D happily. I'm getting an old Imedia Case, and some Nvidia graphics card.. im not sure which one but if need be i'll buy a new case and graphics card, and I will go and buy either Vista or Win7. thanks
