every thing looks good, you should probably pick up a case though. Make sure The PS is like 450W atleast(most cases should come with atleast that but just make sure, never hurts to check)

Alright, I'll look into the core 2 duo.
Like $300-500.

Looking through the mother boards now.
Found this mother board. Seems way better then the one I had up there.

I'm still looking for a good and cheap case. Doesn't have to be too fancy. One with a Power supply already they seem cheaper then buying one by itself.

What can I go cheaper on that I won't need as much?

My dad works for elevator company that works on computer officers and stuff so they ussally give him free stuff for doing the job. I'll get him to pick up the small and simple stuff. He's trying to get an old computer with all the parts in it.

** Monitor I plan to use only supports VGA so i'm going to change the graphics card. I also updated the products I plan to use in my first post. I looked at everything and to my knowledge they will work still.
This is the one I updated it too because its around the same price and has a VGA:

Bump.

-- I think thats the finalized stuff unless other people have other ideas on how I can get it a little cheaper and still be fast? Btw, is all the stuff I edited work together? I checked most of it and it seems to check out. don't want to buy it and it wouldn't work :]

look at my specs, that was 500 with speakers. look for combo deals and free shipping to save money. good luck

Right now its $528. That stuff and a cheap case with good power supply thats not up there. No bundles or deals but I have been looking. Still am. Looking on ebay, craigslist and like other sites for cheaper ones. newegg seems to be the best, most other sites don't give you wires. Some wires are expensive too so mind as well buy from newegg.

Open Box it says in front of one thing, its like 5 bucks cheaper. Does it mean its used, box was opened? Damaged >_> Idk? I'm guessing the box was opening which makes it not new.

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - Way better processor(can be OCed to 4.0GHz and higher wellworth a little more money

Question on Video card. If the Board comes with the VGA slot which is the job for the Video Card do I really need to buy the Video Card? If not I don't want to spend $80 extra bucks. I do know it makes it better quality. Look at my mother board and tell me if that will be an alright, I think its called on board video or something >_>, if so please tell me! :]
**updated links in first post.

I need it cheap now and I will be upgrading this stuff after christmas (getting all the money for this for christmas) so after christmas I will be able to upgrade it later on in the road. Your Ideas?

VGA is becoming outdated Its mainly going to PCI and PCI-e
If you want to play the latest games you might want to go with PCI-e but if your not a person who playes many games go with PCI or VGA
