My friend came to me to help design a computer. He is building this from a grant he recieves through his work. I was wondering if I might employ the posters here to double check and make sure I didn't leave any holes or pick out anything that will not fit with the other items.

If anyone has any questions please let me know via email or suggestions. Harsh criticism is accepted because I'm going to be putting this together. If anything is going to be mroe difficult than usual or incredibly difficult because of the picks then please let me know. I've built two computers from scratch but not in the last 4 years.

if you're getting 4gb of ram, (i'm not sure if this is true), but i've heard you need 64-bit vista to utilize it. (or any 64-bit os)

Yeah get 64bit home premium, 32bit will only utilize like 3.25-3.5Gb's

4GB is overkill... get 2GB if your staying with the 32-bit, and maybe get an better video card. It would help to put an link and price on each... (for example : look how many amps on the rails)
