computer class

I need some help. I just put together a new computer and can't seem to get it to power up correctly.
Components list:
Biostar motherboard geforce6100-m9,
939 socket,
amd sempron 3400+
ultra 350 watt ps,
seagate 100g hdd,
liteon dvd burner with lightscribe,
512mb ultra memory,
ultra 7 in 1 media reader,
My problem, when I turn it on I can hear the cpu fan running, a red lite comes on on the media reader but I cannot hear the hdd spin and the dvd door won't open. Its like Im not getting any power to the hdd or dvd. I have tried plugging in both sets of wires coming out of the ps but no power. I don't hear any signal beeps (post test beeps) when I power up either.
Can anyone offer some help.

Give us more time than just 6 hours, most of us have school/jobs that take up 12 hours of our day.

As for your problem, you do have a weak power supply, but it should do. Are you sure you have all the correct cables plugged into the motherboard (24pin main and the other 4pin aux). Are you able to get a post?

EDIT: Wait, what does this have to do with class? Is this in the right section?

The subject class was just for me, I didn't know how to express it any other way. First off, let me thank you for getting back to me. I too have another job (that I hate) and family priorities, I'm sorry if I am impatient but I need this too work and work fast. I know that the PS isn't that grand, but its big enough for what I have. My mobo connector is only 20pin, yes its inserted firmly, if I insert it any more firmly I will push it thru the mobo. My PS came with 2 sets of connectors, as most do. I tried both sets. And the 4 pin aux is connected firmly. All I get is the keyboard lites to blink, the hdd lites up (front panel lights) and nothing else. I can't even hear my hdd spin. I get absolutely no system beeps of any kind. I know that with no memory installed I should get a (long beeps every other second, meaning no dram detected or installed{according to my manual}) sound, but nothing, I get no system beeps at all. I really can't afford to take this to a prof but I am lost. This was supposed to be a build and go configuration. Any help please, also my processoer doesn't even get warm during startup. again thank you for any solution.
