I am wondering if i will get a performance increase out of these mods.

What I have now:
Standard HP mobo...crappy (no agp)
Celeron 2.93ghz cpu
512mb DDR 333 RAM
Onboard video
standard 250ish watt psu


What I will be getting:
Same mobo
P4 3.0ghz Prescott w/ HT-upgrading cpu cooler and using artic 5
upgrading to 1.5gb RAM (DDR 333)
Diamond 256mb X1300 GDDR2 pci gpu
coolmax 500w psu
 
Yes you will see improvements from those two systems. However, if you want to play games, then a new motherboard, like froboy said, would be great as it will allow you to get a pci-express card.
