Computer Compatibility Advice

Everything is compatible except the RAM/cooler and I see some some other adjustements that can/should be made.
Whats the pc gonna do?
How much do you want to spend?

Oops, I thought I mentioned the price range. I wanted a decent pc that can play games, edit video, and render some 3d stuff without much difficulty. (The games I would want to play are mainly older valve games)
For somewhere between 500 and 800 dollars.

So you're recommending a different motherboard, different power supply, different hard drive which comes with the case, and a different optical drive.

Just wanted to sum it up. OK thanks.
Wouldn't it have been easier to just get other ram?
Can you actually put together 4,4 and 8,8 GB of ram?
Also yet another question, would the power supply work in Australia with a simple adapter?

Also if it won't be enough for me in the future I can always upgrade it.

Not recommending anything. Is what I'd probably do for a similar build.

With 800ish for those uses, spend more on the processor.

Would the original parts be compatible if I were to use a COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus instead of Hyper 212 Evo?

yes. They are the same cooler as far as compatibility and mounting hardware is concerned. The EVO is a better cooler do to the heatpipe design and fan included though.

Yes that RAM configuration is possible as long as all dimms are compatible w/each other.

Are you buying from NE or the states? Or where?
