Computer Dead???

So I got a new case and I took all my old stuff out of my old computer (which sucks) and I put it in the new case now when I try to start the computer nothing happens. The processor fan stays running on "high blast" and I get no video. Did I **** up my motherboard or could it possibly be something else. I'll be back to check this post soon. PLEASE HELP!

Are all of the power cables correctly plugged into the motherboard and peripherals?

Such as 20+4 Pin PSU to Motherboard and +12V CPU Power and if you have a dedicated video card, +6/8pin PCI Express power.

I just checked all of them i replugged them in still same thing. Man i hope i dident **** my computer over

Did you make sure to install the spacers that go in between the motherboard and case?

Yes i did but how would that cause this?

You say you get no video it sounds to me like your video card may have malfunctioned or you forgot to plug a power cable into it this will all depend if your video card is onboard AGP or PCI 16

Because if you didn't, then the motherboard could short out since it is making contact with the metal case where it's not suppose to be.

I have a PCI 16 card its a nvida 7650 I thought it was my card to but i took ouy mu card and tried the on board video and still nothing this is what brings me to thinks its the motherboard or the power supply maby???

Ok so after awhile of posting around no one could help me so. I got a new Motherboard I hope this fixes the problem.
