computer desk problem

you know the tray that holds the keyboard? well whenever it slides in or out it makes noises. so i was wondering what kind of oil to use to make it go away.

Don't know where you are or what products are on sale there but for squeaks I'd try WD40 (works on squeaky doors anyway!)

any normal 3in1 type oil will do ev en something as basic as cooking oil will do the job, dont use wd-40, its not meant for applications like this.

WD40 is really great, you can use it for about everything (but yes,.. its not intended for it ). also Teflon spray works just great for it. as for cooking oil.. i dont think thats a good idea, since it can go bad after a ceraitn ammount of time, and we dont hant our desk to smell, do we?

vegetable oil i'll try. just have to worry about ants and roaches later.

Id really go with WD40, i use it for a squeezing door.. and never had any problems at all, and its quiet
