Computer disconnects regularly from wifi

hey guys,
so I got this windows desktop some months ago and it'll disconnect from wifi every so often. It's very annoying. I'll need to disconnect and reconnect manually on the network option bottom right.

The PC's upstairs and I know the signal isn't fantastic, but I'm torn between buying one of those router extension devices that rebounds wifi around the house, or if it's the computer's native wifi unit that is weak as crap (already uninstalled all network drivers and reinstalled, to no avail) - maybe I should buy one of those USB wifi sensors ?

Your opinion as better versed scholars ? :p

Internal WiFi card or USB? USB ones dies regularly, and even internals can.
so you're thinking a USB wifi signal thingy rather than an extension right, that's what I think.

Stranglehold: well a regular ISP given box. Can't find any info about it that's notable. It works just fine for all devices, just not this computer here, which always had that wifi-capturing weakness. Connection comes and goes. Would you guys advise I get that USB thing to strengthen/stabilize the wifi then ?

You need to be a bit clearer by what you mean with "USB wifi signal thingy".

If you use a wireless USB adapter (as in receives the WiFi signal from the router and uses it as the internet source for the computer) then just replace it. Almost sounds like you're referencing a USB WiFi Extender or something (which I don't even know if those exist).

I'd opt for an internal WiFi card, they're much more reliable and not really any more expensive.
