My computer does not boot up. I turn on the computer and then it says Windows cannot boot up correctly. I tried all the options including all of the safe boot options. Then the Windows logo comes up and the bar seems to be going. But then, it goes black and it doesn't do anything.

AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego
Asus A8N-SLI
OCZ Gold Series 1gb
Western Digital WD2500 250GB HDD
eVGA Geforce 7800gtx PCI-e

Is this your first boot on this computer or did it boot fine before. I would also test the ram. You can also reinstall XP as a repair and see if this fixes the problem.

Sounds like video. When the blue bar is rolling, it's loading drivers. If it can't go to the desktop and the screen goes black, it is usually because it can't recognize your video card. Best bet is like Camper said -- reinstall. The Windows install does a more thorough search of hardware drivers than boot-up does.
