Computer doesn't start Windows.

Right before it loads Windows, it would shut off. For an example on windows 7 when the 4 dots fly in and create the windows logo, maybe 2-3 secs later it shuts down. I thought it was a corrupted file of some sort, but it wasn't. I reinstalled windows 7 and windows xp to see if would fix it, but apparently it didn't. It loaded the first time, but after maybe the 3rd launch, it starts doing the same thing over and over.

How would I go about diagnostically seeing which hardware is the issue? My best bet is the hard drive, but I am unsure.

Can you access Safe Mode?

Lemme get this straight - You had the problem with Windows 7, then reinstalled Windows 7, and then installed XP - and it always freezes at the same time - right before the GUI comes up?

That's weird.

That's too sad that it didn't work after reinstalling. Why don't you try to disconnect the drives or PCI cards one at a time to see which one is causing the boot up problem? I also suspect that it's the hard drive. I've had similar problem before that after multiple OS reinstallation, nothing worked. In the end, the hard drive revealed to be the culprit.
