Is the computer equipment for sale forum not working. Was going to put something there but there is no new thread button.
 
what that bloke did was bang out of order, i hope you guys get your money back or a laptop or something, or even beating him up would do i guess (so long as you get the money too)
 
I got only about $90 back... I don't think he can pay me back though, I have a feeling he has pretty much no money.
 
The computer equipment for sale forum has been reopened, but anyone who wishes to sell something needs to register at ebay first and list the item and then post a link to the ebay page where the item is for sale.
This was implemented to help reduce possible fraud, as ebay has systems in place where you can check the reputation of sellers, etc.
Also any fraud that may occur, can then be reported to ebay/paypal, they have the resources in place to help people. Unfortunately, I do not.

I would try reporting it to the police, they may have a special department to deal with online fraud, there is no telling how many people he may have scammed with the same lies.
 
Ok, I'll try that. I filed a claim with paypal about two weeks ago, but they haven't done anything...
