anyone have a estimate of to what tax will be?
Tax only applies if you live in either CA or NJ I believe, and the tax rate is different in both those states.

newegg doesn't charge tax... at least when my dad bought his PC they didn't charge tax... in wisconsin... of course all us wisconsin ppl are pimps...

There are periods in the hyperlink so it actually goes in as
"http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826104183". Can you fix them?

Yup, that's fine.

It does what to you?:)
you are very funny (sarcasticly saying) anyway isn't that a good price? and if i were to go to walmart and get one would it be the same price as to newegg? because of shipping
-how do u like the rest of my build?

aight
GPU: 32MB nVIDIA M64 Pro Graphics Card (take load off of cpu a little)
he will be using it for more of a multi-tasking, no gaming (if he wants to can get a gpu later), and probably $500, $600
*what do u think of the setup i got on page 1?

its alright... but only if it is definate he isn't doing gameing...

hey and is that AGP or PCI?
and are you sure he doesn't want a PCIe slot?
and if he is going to get a good GPU later or mebbe upgrade later, he should get a more upgradable motherboard...

and more detail on your budget...

well... i still got to ask him some more questions and beings he at college right now, i got to call him gpu is agp - no pciE cause no good gpu i really dont need it right? and what u mean more upgradeable motherboard? - he was going to buy from dell like a $300 one but i convinced him to let me build one and i havnt even built myself one [: i mean i got a dual core so that is good and a gig of ram and can u answer question bout ram on first page? thx

i don't think the ram difference would do much... i think the first ram you picked out might be a bit better, but not by much...

and what i mean a by a more upgradable motherboard is that mebbe if his computer parts starts getting old, he can always upgrade (i.e. a mobo that supports PCIe, 4gb ram etc...)

ya but this would proly last him what 2-3 years with just his needs i mean look at my specs i have had this since 2001 2002 and it still suits me just not for games...so...
