Hi, I bought a desktop computer and when I play games sometimes it freezes, that is, all screen activity stops and a lot of noize come from the speakers and the only thing I can do is to restart it. The problem never happens when I am just programming or browsing the web. The components of the PC are:

- AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
- 1X 1 To (1000 GB) Hitachi HDS721010CLA332 7200 Trs 32Mb cache SATA2
- 1X 4 Gb (1X4096Mb) DDR3 1600Mhz CORSAIR XMS3 CMX4GX3M1A1600C9
- Sapphire Ati Radeon HD6870 1024Mb DDR5 Connect3D
- Asus M5A78L
- CoolerMaster ELITE 334 460W

I checked on the internet what might be the cause of the problem and on the website of the graphics card I found that it requires a 500W power supply. I sent then an e-mail to the store complaining and they said that the one I have is enough... What is your oppinion? If I change the power supply do you think the problem will be solved?

The website of the graphics card is:

Thank you
