Computer Freezes When Using Games

Hey I have a Windows XP and bascially when i play a game my computer makes static noises from the speakers and my graphics turn all distorted and my keyboard mouse and internet all freeze up, i tried using different graphics cards and reinstalled windows xp but still no luck. it doesnt happen all the time sometimes its less and sometimes its more can someone please tell me whats happenin

Check your temperatures in CMOS or BIOS first. After that, download and burn to a CD the .iso of Memtest86...

So, ignore the post above.

When you turn your computer on, press DEL, F1, F2, F10, and SHIFT. After it gets you to a blueish screen, go to PC HEALTH and look for CPU/CORE temperatures.
