johnb35 Administrator Staff member Mar 31, 2013 #2 Are you actually in bios or are you talking about the post screen? Have you changed any settings in the bios? If its the post screen then you have some faulty hardware. Try resetting cmos.

clquestor New Member Mar 31, 2013 #5 OK I reset the CMOS. My USB devices such as mouse and card reader power up but keyboard does not. Would that actually cause the PC to not post?

wolfeking banned Mar 31, 2013 #6 on some boards it could cause it to fail post. I know my p8p67 won't pass without keyboard, but it will without the mouse. Try using a working keyboard and see what it does.

johnb35 Administrator Staff member Mar 31, 2013 #7 If a new keyboard doesn't fix the issue, try disconnecting hdd and dvd drive until it boots up.
