Many pc games are also seen for X-Box, PS, and Nintendo. The use of a tv is generally seen as for substitution of a standard vga monitor(lcd or crt). The only possible application for a remote location is configuring a clone display by add a tv as a second monitor only unless using cordless types of input devices. (keyboard-mouse)
