Computer/gaming problems

I'm having some problems which are really frustrating! I'm trying to play World of Warcraft but when I reach the account login in the main manu, the whole damn computer shuts down! I have a 2.5 AMD, 1024 DDR with a Radeon 9600XT Bravo graphic card. I had no problems what so ever playing Doom 3, I could even play D3 with the highest settings.

I have the latest drivers for my Radeon, but I still believe it might have something to do with all of this.

The whole screen just goes blank but the computer is still running. But no sound is coming out of the speakers. I've had this problem before, but I cant remember how I solved it then. What am I to do?
 
uninstall and reinstall the game
if you have saved progress on the game when the uninstall window opens up just make shure it saves the files and deletes everything else...hope that made since
 
Try posting in the Blizzard forums (if they have any) or email them about the problem. I'm guessing most of the people here don't have that game or don't play video games.
