Computer gone a little cray cray

This happens randomly for a couple of minutes. Some days it doesn't happen at all.

I have a ASUS 7970 Direct II TOP

What Power Supply Unit do you have exactly?

Latest drivers?

This looks like an overheating or underpower issue to me.

I have "Corsair AX850 Gold Power Supply"

and yeah, I have the latest drivers

Ok I would do a clean install on the drivers first - removing them via the Add and Remove programs and remove anything from AMD and ATi (with care). Then use DriverSweeper to clean it up after a restart.

Then reinstall the latest drivers again and restart.

Then if that doesn't fix it, monitor temps.

Then after that, I would look at cables.

Scratch that! it's back. Urgh, it's doing it more often now...
