computer hangs up in sleep mode

Pentium 4 , 3.4 mhz 1 gig memory

Windows XP home

Computer hangs in sleep mode and has to be unpluged and restarted.

Any suggestions?

update all your drivers, especially for your video card.

Never unplug the computer to reset it.

Press and hold the power button. Then you can unplug if you need to.
