Computer illiterate with $1000 to spend! What would you do?!

Fair does I had a crap board, but still no support in English really existed. The manual was mostly in Chinese and reading the English translation it honestly looked as if somebody at Foxconn had just typed the entire thing in Chinese into Google Translate, hit translate, then copied the English translation into the manual.
 
I actually put three links of Asus, Gigabyte and AsRock until my tab was closed accidently, so I rather suggested the extreme4 only. I still think its decent, but no problem since Asus and Gigabyte have better boards.
 
I personally think the board is not worth the price for the features, and lack of function of the features it does have.
 
I am going with:
GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-D3H LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

but it is all still in cart so let me know if you think thats the best at that price point.
