Computer interfers with DTV signal??

Okay... so this is a computer question right?

Since the digital transition, it appears our computer interfers with the DTV signal. As soon as the computer is turned on... one of our channels (13-001) dies completely until the computer is turned back off. We have experimented with this on several occasions.

We have moved the tv and antenna around the living room trying to fix it even.

I read that you can get DTV on your computer with a DTV tuner card... I've never put something like that in the computer but is it possible that the onboard video has that?

What could it be and how do I fix it?

BTW: We are not allowed to put up a roof-top antenna, our land-lord already said "no" even though the FCC recommends one.

Im not sure what could be causing that, but i do have a recommendation for you to try, i have tried this and it works very well. You can make your own antenna for around $10 or so, out of a balun and some common household materials. Only thing i will note is, i have found it works better without the back plate if you dont want to move it for each channel, as the backplate makes it directional in one direction only, while without it, it will receive from front to back, but not side to side;). YOu can see that guide here:

Its small enough that it can fit on a desk or something near the tv,also another thing you would want to do is to to antennaweb.org, put in your address, and it will show you the direction of tv stations that are available for over the air reception in your area;)
