We have a HP Presario sr2163wm running windos xp. We use it for just basic computer tasks. We do not even get on the internet with it. It is about 2 years old. We were using it the other day and it just went black. I turn it off and turned it back on and nothing. It seems like a video problem to me. The computer has onboard video and a extra PCI and a PCI express slot. I ordered a PCI Ati Rage 128 VR for it. I hooked it up and still nothing. I installed the new card in another machine and it works fine. So what else could the problem be? It shows nothing not the bios check when you first boot it up, just no video at all. It may be something else. Please advise me on this issue. thanks
