Computer just switches off

Hi.

My computer used to blow fuses inside the power cord (connected to the extension lead), so I replaced the PSU thinking it is the problem. I did it last week. Since then fuse has been OK, but now the PC just switches itself off and I can't switch it on for a day or so again.
Any ideas what is going on?

blow fuses? you mean the fuses in your power supply? Have you tried using a different power socket? Or if you have a surge protector, try using that. Fuses blowing can be caused by a short on the system as well.

Hi. I meant fuses on the power cord plugged into the extension lead.

Oh you mean fuses on the extension board? hmm, are you sure its your computer doing it? have you tried plugging your computer somewhere else and plug something else onto the board?
