I've started getting the following problem with my computer. If anyone can offer any advise, I'd appreciate it.
I recently changed address where before I experienced no problems with my PC. My new abode does not have the best electrical wiring and once connected up here, I have suffered repeated crashes, that being my computer just turning itself off for no apparent reason.
I suspected the electrical system in the house or even local area, as at peak times, the problem is more acute. However, I notice that if I try to play the odd game, or create a music playlist, download music or run my anti virus scan etc, it is as though the computer seems to need more power and doesn't get it and so switches off. That might sound mad but it seems that way.
Also if I try to speed my way through emails, clicking on and off fast, will cause the same problem.
Is this something to blame on the electrics in the house or is it an internal computer problem upon which the electricity supply is not to blame. I also thought of the electrics as frequently (but it could be coincidence), turning a kettle on will turn off the computer.
Any answers please.
Scott.
