Computer looks like turds

So my computer works fine, but as I plan to get a windowed case pretty soon, it looks damn ugly. My cabling isnt sleeved, the intel cooler is blue and yellow, and my mobo is red and black and all my other stuff is black. I plan to get a new psu and sleeve those cables, will that help any? Also my graphics card and my wifi card are both green, but the graphics card is being replaced soon, but what should I do about the wifi card? Also, can anyone recommend a nice looking heatsink, and some red/black case fans?

Also, whats the difference between the h50 and h100i. Is the cooling better?

Corsair do good looking fans such as the af 120mm or 140mm for case fans. Or corsair sp120 or 140mm led for heat sinks/ radiators. If you like led fans nzxt and bitfenix are good.

Any good cooler like a hyper 212 with a set of sp 120 fans with red rings will look good. Or a cooler that can support a 140mm fan like the deep cool lucifer, you can put led 140mm sp led fans on there, both are of similar price.

And the h100i is a 240mm rad with 2x 120mm fans wheras the h50 is only 120 or 140 with 1 120 or 140 fan. The h100 I is better but both are good coolers and much better than the stock Intel.

Save yourself the trouble and by a power supply with sleeved cables, any decent air cooler is going to be about the same price as a corsair liquid cooler, but the liquid cooler will look much slicker and perform better.

Also when you do your cabling use some nice coloured cable ties for detail, you could also use coloured sata cables.

If your clear windows has holes for cooling fans, get a nice led fan that goes with your colour scheme, if you want to go that far your can get strip lights for your case.

I have a set of 120 sp high performance edition. For me on my h100i they are quieter than the stock fans but if your used to a quiet pc they are pretty noisy. However the quiet ones still perform good but will loose a little cooling power. If your concerned about noise go for the quiet edition fans. Have you had a look at the deep cool lucifer, and then putting 2x corsair 140mm sp fans on. It is of similar price to the hyper 212 but it performs better.

I believe it is, from test reviews I've seen its about 0.5c from the noctua dh-14. Which is with single stock fan. I'm unsure now though I think the fan is 140mm with 120 supports. So you would need a 120 fan or a 140mm with 120 supports. I'd check this. Id also check it wil fit the RAM as it is pretty massive and that infact it will support the fans. The h80i would be a better option as it comes with stock sp grey fans.

buying that refubished h100i would be a good choice, it is a very good cooler. The reviews look good from newegg for the refurbished unit too. Once thing to not though is as it is refurbished it doesnt have full warranty, only comes with 30 days or something like that. Ive had mine over a year now and havent had a problem with it but i dont know what a refurbished unit will be like.

for the price id say its worth a try. If you do get it make sure to download corsair link 2 and make sure the pumps running ok, fans are running and temps are all good to ensure there is no problems out of the box with it. I swapped the stock ones with the sp 120 high peformance as i found them quieter and better performing and looking than the stock ones.

Also make sure that you get a case where you can support it correctly.

The offer on that looks to end today though.

Seeing as the sale is ending, I'll probably go with the hyper 212 evo, or the thermaltake I listed above, but I'd rather spend money on PSU and ram b4 buying this stuff.

Yeah that's a good choice, the hyper 212 is still a good cooler and you can always add better fans at a later date for performance and looks. The h100i would be a bit overkill I think.

It depends really at stock the h100i on a 3770k at max load will be about 30c a hyper 212 will be about 40c. On overclock of around 4.6ghz the hyper 212 will be on its limit of 90-95c whereas the h100i will be at about 70c.. The h100i will get to 90c at about 5-5.1ghz. So the max on.a hyper 212 a reasonable overclock will be 4.3ghz at around 70c and my h100i can do 4.8ghz at around 70c so there is a good difference.
