Computer monitor help! Screen is going crazy

Hi, I'm new here, so basically this started a few days ago and the first few times it wasn't bad and was fixed with a few taps around the cables. But now it's stuck like this. It can't be the graphics card or cord because I unplugged all the cables except the power cord. Is this fixable in any way? Here is a short video http://youtu.be/ctYq2hIiP90

If this still happens with only the power cord attached then you have a bad monitor.
 
Well, technically it could just be a cable issue. Although unlikely, those are cheap as usually you just use any standard kettle cable. What is more likely that it is the power connector in the monitor (the plug where you connect your power cable) or some more serious electrical issue within the monitor itself.

If you can, connect your computer to a TV and see if the same happens (to exclude gpu issues),

If the monitor is new, RMA it back, otherwise you might need a new screen,, sorry.
