I have a Dell Dimension C521 that used to have windows xp , after a while of owning it the computer malfunctioned and the only way around the problem was to install a different O.S which then i installed Ubuntu, after using ubuntu the computer started to black out, i decided to try and install windows xp again and it wouldn't let me , now i try to install the latest ubuntu and it tells me error address line A20 already enabled. I read things about messing with the bios but i don't have any O.S , are there any solutions?

The BIOS isn't part of the operating system. Boot the system and press F2 to enter the BIOS. Reset the BIOS back to the default settings. Then use something like Darik's Boot and Nuke to format the hard drive and install an operating system.
