Computer Noise

Just put together my computer and I notice when loading programs and starting up.. it makes a loading type noise like old computers do when loading programs and such. Any idea what it could be?

My processor is Intel Core 2 Duo.

Yeah, it's my HDD. Is there anything I can do to stop the noise?

you cant, unless you replace your HDD with a new one.

uhmm dampen it , some sell these HDD comforters or somting so it doesnt vibrate as much, there made of some rubber or somting

must be a deffective HDD, Its not suppose to make too much noise

I would use the time machine and send it to the times the huge meteor hit the Earth. i am sure that those frightened running dinosaurs would crash it into the smallest pieces.. and if nowadays archaeologist would find a piece of it they could prove there was another civilization or aliens or whatever.. wouldn't that be just nice?
