Computer not booting up, help please!

My computer was working fine since yesterday and today i tried to start it agian but it started and came up with windows xp booting up screen and again restarted and since then message coming " device noy detected " its not dedecting any harddrive from my computer .

and even not showing any hard drive in the setup.

Please help me regarding that.

MAke sure the connection from the mobo to the HDD is proper. if it is, your hard drive just died on you...

Dont worry. Normally, it occures due to power cable of hard drive. If u have contact cleaner use it after unplugging and plug it again. Also check IDE cable. Mostly it occures,otherwise H.D is out of order
 
also, if you have connected any external hard drives or USB flash disks to the computer, disconnect them. the computer may be trying to boot from them?
