Computer or PS3?

huh, weird. i guess its a good thing i dont turn 18 while im in the middle of school. i graduate a few days after my birthday, it just works.

ok im telling u go with a pc u can do a whole hell of alot more with it
and it will help u with school
a ps3 will juss get in ur way
a pc is so much better and only get a ps3 if u have like $400 laying around

i guess, IMO, it depends on what you're wanting to do
if ALL you want to do is play games, getting the ps3 would be a better idea considering the money issue
personally, i'd work on saving for a computer. a lot more things you're able to do
and, depending on what you're wanting, you shouldn't have to pay $1700 for a system.
if you build the system, it'd be a whole lot cheaper. unlesss of course you're wanting the top of the line everything.

like i said, depends really on what exactly you want to do, and how long you feel like waiting.

trust me, from experience, a computer will do that just the same. if not more so
it's all a matter of self control.
if you don't have it, don't get either until after school
LOL

well what i ment that if u come home and get on ur pc and on to the internet u can also do ur homework
but if u come home and then get on the ps3 then u cant do ur homework
and the pc will allow u to do reports and get infoand stuff
and the pc (depending upon what u get) it will last like 3 years

a console system can last more then three years. My SNES was made in 1991 and i stil play it all the time.

the same can be said for a PC, how many of us guys still have P1 computers we like to tinker with, or even older? I know i've seen a few here that still have "ancient" machines in daily use.

ok, i do have to agree with that. lol
and, another plus for a PC, VS. PS3, to kind of coincide with the longevity thing, some game consoles can last quite awhile as well. up until about a year or so ago, i still had a working NES.
but, as i have noticed with game consoles, they usually stop making games for them within a couple years max. and they are constantly making new stuff for systems
and with a system, all you have to do to make the newer stuff work, if the system's a few years old, is usually upgrade a part or two and your right back up-to-date
otherwise, with a game console, you have to pretty much forget about the old one and buy a whole new one, and whole new games and stuff for that new system
