okay, so i decided to open up my computer and organize the messy wires by zip-tying them so they aren't as messy - after doing so, my computer wouldn't power on. i made sure it was plugged in and everything and it wouldn't turn on. after undoing some zipties, it would power on, but then power off a few moments later. so i pretty much unplugged everything and replugged everything again and now it seems to be running fine.
is there something wrong with my machine or is it just a momentary defect or some sort? any help would be greatly appreciated!
