Computer problem- please help

Recently my computers been giving me problems, such as random lag issues (jerking of screen). These happens, when i play games such as warcraft 3(frozenthrone) and worldofwarcraft. These lag/jerking of screen happens randomly and continues for like 20s+ and later stablized.So iam trying to know what the problem is here, my ram or video card is damaged? i don seem to have problems till recently.

computer states:
pentium 4.
2.40ghz
512 of ram
geforce video card(kinda old version)

(the system requirement games stated above perfectly match my computer states)
 
Seems so, how do i "clean the dust",from the fan? motherboard? Is my cpu already damaged and is there a need to replace some parts
 
well... i just use the Hoover lol (dunno if your meant to do that, but sucks the dust up real good)
 
I would guess that it's an issue of low system memory, try buying another stick of 512Mb. I know I have only 512 and I lag on a lot of games.
