Hey so ok heres the problem. Whenever im in a game, warcraft3, WoW, etc, my computer does this thing where like the screen like turns off then back on. but it isnt the screen cuz of interchanged them. But it doesnt happen outside of the game. Its like some kind of a lag where my comp freezes for 3 seconds and the screen resets or something. Any ideas?

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 4300 @1.80GHz
1.99gig ram
Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family (<< this is video card i guess? im
new to vista still :( )

sounds like you have on bored video, most games have minimum video card requirements and even at low settings it may not be able to handle newer games so it just shuts off, you should look into getting a new video card....and that should fix the problem, but i think it would just lag down really hard with low fps..maybe someone else has a suggestion.

Well can you give me a link to a decent vid. card that would work for WoW and wc3. And is it difficult to install myself? =/

No. All you do it put it in the right slot, power it, then download/install the drivers. If you go to a store, ask a rep to tell you how to do it (assuming he's the least bit versed in his department). If you get it online, just google it. But its very simple, so you shouldn't need too much help.

Well ok so i got a Nvidia gforce 7300. installed it and everything. Worked great for about an hour and a half. Then i started gettin some flashes again, but they werent quite the same as before.

What exactly does it do? make sure your computer and games are recognizing your video card

Did you use the cd that came with the vid card? You need to go to the company's website and download the latest drivers for the card you have, especially since you're using vista. I've heard of a lot of driver issues with vista, but by now there should be the right drivers for you to download. Do that, then let us know what happens.
