computer problem

ok, so my processor jsut arrived and im trying to set up my comp and when i turn it on nothing comes up on the screen, my cd drive wont open or nething so i deff mess stuff up so i was woundering if someone could help me with this, thanx
 
It sounds like you should recheck all power connections and read the board's user manual over carefully to see if you miswired anything. Did you remember to turn on the breaker switch on the rear of the power supply? Look for the basic things first before assuming bad hardware.

:eek: make sure or check the ram slot is not fired......once my friend put a ddr ram in a ddr2 ram slot by accident....and Game Over (i mean the slot :P )
