Good morning ladies and gents. I have a interesting problem that I a computer noobie have not encounterd before.

My uncle in cali currently got his hands on some new computers in some contest at work and has sent me one. Before it gets here I wanted to make sure I had at least 1gb of memory and a g-card to put into it.

Now im not a super gamer I don't go balls to the wall on my system I just prefer it to run it...not on super high specs :)

eMachines T6528 AMD Athlon 64 3500+ is the one he is sending me.

My question is will my 512mb sticks of memory work in the T6528?

Also I wanted to spend a bit of money and put in a better graphics card.

Will this work on the T6825 and is it a good bargain card to use? Games id like to play is BF2 which I am told it should be able to do it.

Thank you for any assistance you can offer me :)

Yes, that 7600GT will work, but you will need to upgrade the power supply in the new system aswell. That card will handle most games just fine. As for the memory, I would try to pick up a decent priced stick of DDR400. The memory in your current system is slower than the memory than your new system. The old memory will work, but when it is running along with the new memory, the new memory will be underclocked to the speeds of the old memory.

It's not really hard at all. You just need to know where your plugs go. As for purchasing one, I'm not really quite sure what kind (form factor) of PSU would go in that case. The item description doesn't say what it uses. If it uses ATX, then the PSU you posted above would be perfectly fine.

Allright then thank you very much for the help I will see if there tech support can tell me what is what so I can buy the correct one!
