I want to beef up my computer, i heard buy a 6800, and a amd 3000+ good idea? keep in mind i want to stay under 1000 dollars.

ya I would suggest a faster processor and a 256 7800. unless you wanna keep this set up for a really long time.

Yeh I agree with these people. You could get a lot more for under $1000. I recommend the 7800, maybe a dual core (x2) athlon 64.

here is the crap comp i have right now lol, 5700le, p4 2.8, 1 gig of ram only good part to my comp...... 40 gig harddrive. anything would probably be a upgrade to my comp

yea u need to upgrade ur video card and maybe ur hard drive. but if u want to upgrade ur processor ur gonna need a new mobo.
