Hello All,

I have a question can someone detect the name of your computer if you are leaving feedback on a website

For Eg. the registered information on windows such as Registered to, Company name/User name & Computer Id or is it just the IP address??

All they can get from you is your internet IP address assigned to you by your internet provider.

IP leads a trail to you and provider. Law enforcement can trace the call to the provider. They can ask who own this IP. On another note to your first question the answer is yes. It would require a virus, maybe malicious mostly. It would require some kind of remote access i think.

One note though. If its a computer from the corporation your a lot better off not using for illegal activity. Its a trail to you when taking it back to work. They will know. not saying it was. im saying IF....
