3-10 seconds after playing a memory intensive game, like GTA 4, the computer slows down a lot. I tested the speed of the computer by scanning with Avast; it took about twice as long to scan a certain file right after I played this game. But, however, after 5 minutes or so, the computer speeds up to its normal speed.
I think that it's the hard drive that's causing this slow down because whenever the computer slows down, the hard drive whirs like crazy.
Here's the hard drive i bought:

Could this be the Hard Drive slowing down? I've had this thing for over 2 years. Or, could it be the RAM or Processor?
Processor: AMD X4 Phenom II 940
RAM: 4GB 1066MHz
