computer slows over network

hello. my mom downloaded a game on my computer and saved it onto a shared drive, so she can access it on her computer. well, whenever i use my computer at the same time she plays the game, the game runs really slow. is this a memory problem?

It has nothing to do with memory, it sounds like it's a hard drive issue, or if your playing an online game then when shes copying the files, it may cause your game to lag (especially if your using wireless).

Why don't you just move those files to her computer if you don't use them?

yeah copy the files like omega said, and it's not logical to play a game which is on a shared drive at the same time someone else is playing, it's not right and thats why the lag.
it will probably also cause conflicts later on
