Computer stuck in reboot loop

Last night I was on my computer when it randomly crashed.

When it crashed pretty much all I could see was my desktop without any icons or shortcuts. I turned it off by holding down the power button. Today as I try turn it on it is stuck in a reboot loop (turning off and on). When it does this it gives me the option to Start windows normally. When I do that it turns off again, and then it gives me the option to go into start up repair. It then goes to delete tons of corrupted files / fix them up. Then it restarts again.
It does the above constantly.

Occasionally it actually works, goes into the computer. But it only allows me to use the computer for like 3 minutes then it crashes again.

I've tried spamming F12 / F2 for BIOS and another MENU but the options in there don't work. I tried to boot it from the Windows 7 CD Key and that didn't seem to work (maybe because the CD doesn't work... IDK).

I'll explain more on exact details later when I try again tonight.
Thanks guys.

Okay guys. I haven't done any of the suggestions because I've actually turned it on and now it seems to be working fine. The fans are going crazy though. Very loud, but still working.

I still want to try and fix this from happening later. I also want to figure out why it's doing this.

When I turned it on google chrome seemed to have an extension called "newtab". I deleted it and am running antivisus scans / uninstalling things. It seems like all my extensions have been deleted (adblock).

I'll do the suggestions you guys tell me and get back to you guys, I can't system restore though. What else should I do too?

EDIT:

No viruses. I've freed up some space and got adblock back etc. All seems fine aside from the fan speed. It appears like the computer was overheating etc, so I've left the computer side-lid off.

As for the hard drive diagnostic scan. I do remember when turning on the computer before it did this whole lengthy "Chkdsk %" operation multiple times.
I'm kind of scared of running anything technical just in case I mess up and the computer malfunctions again...

If checkdisk is running on bootup and the results are errors or bad sectors, you need to run a diagnostic on the hard drive. What brand of drive is it? Also could be a memory issue I suppose.

Okay so it actually just crashed again. After working fine for about 4 days.

I want to system restore my computer but the Windows Disk doesn't work. Also I don't have the product number as the computer is custom built and I bought it off a friend who built it.

When it crashed all applications were invalid/weren't able to open etc. Everything closed down and all I could see was the desktop background. No programs or icons. I then waited 2 minutes and shut the computer down manually. About 5 minutes later I attempted to turn it on where it was stuck on the Windows Logo screen for 10 or so minutes until I manually turned it off again. I then disconnected all powers / internet and waited 10 minutes then started it up again where it automatically fixed it wioth diagnostic scans / chkdsk. And it appears to be working again....
I want to fix this before it occurs again.

I'm now doing a hard drive diagnostic scan.

ps. Are there any ways of doing a system restore without using the disk? I beleive I have a few back ups but the problem is that those back ups are only KB in size therefore I think they are either corrupt or illegitimate?

Okay so initially I couldn't do a diagnostic scan as it said you can't do it (using the properites C drive method) whilst the hard drive was in use. So I made it run next reboot. I switched off the computer but noticed something taht actually occured last time my computer crashed.
Each time it crashes there always seems to be Windows Updates available ( the ones that auto-install when you turn off your computer ).

When I turned it on this time I'm not sure what the diagnostic scan is meant to look like but a black screen appeared with some words and what appeared to be file locations like registry/etc/etc/etc. It went to 205/205 and the computer turned on as per normal. These crashes are very weird. Also, the computer is extremely loud when it turns on/fixes it. Once it's "fixed" it is quiet again.
I just want to fix this so it doesn't occur again. If a system restore is the best option please assist me on how to do so without the CD as it doesn't seem to work (CD might be scratched too much).
Also, I'm running CCleaner's "Drive Wiper" to delete all "Free Space".

Please ask questions so I can help you help me :)!
Thank you so much for your time guys.

Also, I've just clicked properties on My Computer and it's displaying a product ID number. Is that enough to system restore my computer back to it's original state (nothing installed). I've also just used CCleaner and noticed that they have a function that uninstalls all software on computers. I know it's not a system reset/restore but would it possibly do the same thing?

Okay so today as I turned it on it crashed again when I tried to use it for 1 minute. As I restarted it, it blue screened two times (two seperate restarts). I then turned it on in safe mode which worked. I restarted it again where it went into Startup repair for a very long time this time. I noticed it was stuck on 38% for about 5 minutes. Now it seems to be working, but it seems as if each time I turn it on another problem (as seen above) occurs.

Hey my Hard Drive is, according to device manager, AMD 2+0 Stripe/RAID0 SCSI Disk Device. I noticed there isn't any recommended diagnostic scan utilites for AMD on ur list. Would you recommend me one?

Am now using the CrystalDiskInfo application beers commented about. Will be using HDDScan after.

For CrystalDiskInfo's smart report (testing all at 5, 1000mb c:77% (227/296GB):
[Seq] Read [MB/s]: 104.4 Write [MB/s] 88.78
[512K] Read [MB/s]: 24.39 Write [MB/s] 27.91
[4k] Read [MB/s]: 0.285 Write [MB/s] 1.042
[4K QD32] Read [MB/s]: 0.773 Write [MB/s] 1.148

2nd test using CrystalDiskMark:

HDDScan won't run for me? The SMART option doesn't work etc????

If tehre are any more tests or I have done the test incorrectly please tell me. Thanks guys!

I could not use CrystalDiskInfo as it does not support RAID.

I'm quite skeptical about turning my PC off as it seems to be the only time when it has problems / errors (upon start up).

Agin, there are windows updates to install before I turn my computer off

Since you are running a raid 0 configuration, you can't get the brand name of the hard drives from device manager. You will need to physically look at the drives. Do yourself a favor and backup any important data before one of the drives fully goes out on you. If that happens all your data is gone since you are running a raid 0.

How bout the test results? do they look normal or is there something wrong?

Also, isn't the brand of the HDD AMD 2+0 Stripe/RAID0 SCSI Disk Device.
Would just a full system restore fix it?

No, thats not the name of the drives. You are running a raid configuration so the brand of the drives won't be listed.

I can't promise that a reinstall of windows will solve this. You will have to test the drives individually to determine what drive is faulty. But again, with you running a raid 0 you will need to backup any data before you totally lose it. You can't just replace a drive and rebuild the array like you can when running raid 1.

Hey I just turned my PC on again and CHKDSK is running again. Each time it turns on it does maintanence...
When the CHKDSK finished the computer black screened and said "system error, insert system disk and press enter. can't start" or something along those lines...

I inserted the disc and now it's directing me to install Windows 7? I suppose I am system restoring windows.
It's asking me if I want to upgrade Windows or custom (re-install it, delete all files?)
I guess I'll try custom. Probably format all the data then :L

Anyway, the drives are both Seagates. Both the drives are Seagate Barracuda's 7200.9's/

Okay so I tried to select upgrade so it told me to take the disc and restart. I restarted the computer and now it's turning on perfectly fine? I didn't even reinstall windows? I've noticed it's more inclined to mess up on very hot days and today it's cold...

I also restarted it again and now it's not even that loud and seems to be working fine. I hope it stays like this but I'm still kinda skeptical cause next time I turn it on, let's say, tomorrow it'll probably mess up as usual....

Also, I'd like to reinstall windows but I don't know the product key. Is there any way to install it without the product key?

Thanks John, you've been an amazing helper.

Any clue as to why it's running perfectly fine now though...? I'm almost certain it will bug out again, but still. Seems strange that it keeps going fine then not fine etc...

With seagate tools, it has only detected one drive. Do I just click on "Basic Tests" > "Fix All" > "Long" ?

As I said you will need to test the drives individually, you can't test them as a raid. Meaning you will need to unhook the drives and run seatools for dos, you won't be able to use the windows version, and then test one drive at a time. But please backup any important data in case disaster strikes.
