Computer temp is at 10C?!

I've got an unsual issue. I built a computer awhile back and have always noticed that it runs insanely cool. It averages around 22C according to the bios. It's not water cooled, and I'm using fans that came with the case and CPU. There is nothing special about this system. It's a AMD 3200+ X2 CPU with onboard video. The case has several good fans and has a TON of room to work with, thus giving the CPU plenty of circulated air. Today I noticed something really odd which can't be right, according to the BIOS heres the temps:

System Temperature: 10C (50F)
CPU Temperature: -8C (17.6F)

Speedfan also gives similar temps. This seems impossible. The computer is in a very cold room and its 15 degree Fahrenheit outside. The computer sits next to window thats currently cracked open and these temperatures are while the computer has sat idle for awhile. If I put my hand up to the case fans the air coming from them is literally ice cold. I'm sure the PC is obviously running very cold right now but it just can't be possible the PC is this cold. Anyone know why the BIOS is giving me such low figures, along with Speedfan, and how I can go about finding the true temperature of the CPU and case? :confused:
 
well technially if its 15f outside it is possible, but im 99.99% sure something is wrong with your sensor chip. if your BIOS is giving you those temps than you pretty much out of luck. i think my temp sensors are busted too :(
 
My cpu temp is about 20-22C so it might not be wrong. If you have a good enough case then its possible. Especially since its cold outside. I have no heater in my room so it gets quite chilly in here
