computer upgrade help

ok i am about to get a computer from my mom(her old one)

and i would like it to play half-life2 and doom3 on it what all do i have to get to do so.

You would need a better mobo and cpu cause that celeron wont do. Get you self and p4 and or a AMD. Whell in other words you need a lot of upgrading. Just keep the * 16X DVD-ROM Drive 40X CD-RW Drive. You need a hole new system.
