I want to upgrade my computer to this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819115005

and i still need to a motherboard and ram to. I am going to be overclocking this alot so i want some high quality overclocking ram and a high quality overlocking motherboard.

My budget for this will be $1000 but i do want the price considerably under that.

Will the cache difference make a huge noticiable difference all i will be doing is gaming and running F@H?

EDIT: the motherboard if they have any out will be SLI compatible if they have any.

DFI mobos are very overclockable. So are some Asus and MSI boards. Any well known branded RAM should do the trick. Kingston, Corsair, G.Skill, OCZ, etc. You could also upgrade the CPU to a 6400.

I need to know what motherboards are compatible with the Core 2 Duo cause even though it says so on some on newegg i dont trust that information. And i need a good overclocking one to.

I dont think ill be able to upgrade to the 6400 cause ill probably have a hard enough time trying to get my dad to let me buy this so unless i can ill stick to the 6300 and overclock it.

Don't waste $259 on a motherboard that isn't really better than a $150 one. Get the Gigabyte 965P DS-3. If you have any questions, ask Rambo. If you haven't read the thread, he got his E6300 up to 3.4Ghz with it.
