Computer upgrade question

Hey guys,

I'm new to the forums and I have a question that I hoped you could answer.

Basically, I am going to get an upgrade to my mobo, CPU and RAM. The link to the upgrade is below and also written out.

http://www.aria.co.uk/Systems/Bundl...K+4.50GHz+Overclocked+Bundle+?productId=44489

i5 @ 4.50GHz
4GB Mushkin RAM @ 1600MHz
And a decent mobo.

So anyway, the question I wanted to ask is what GPU can I get that is cheap but also effective and doesn't bottleneck the system too much in terms of playing video games. I've been dying to play The Witcher 2 since I bought it at release but my system just hasn't been up to scratch so I am looking for something that can play that at 60 FPS medium-high. The resolution I play at is also 1360x768. I've never really had the money to get a decent monitor so I use a decent HDTV.

Thanks in advance :)

Depends on your budget for the card. What other games would you be interested in playing. Once we know the answers we can recommend a card for you.

Hi, thanks for the responses. The other games I am looking to play are WoW and Starcraft mainly. I would love to play WoW on ultra because having it on low makes it look oh so bad. I might also be looking to play Battlefield 3 and definately Skyrim however I am not too fussed about the graphics of Skyrim as it is more about the gameplay.

TL;DR Something that can give me good performance of WoW on ultra at 1360x768.

Thanks :)

Edit: Also the budget is not too big of a deal as I will work around it with the price of the bundle.

remember that he plans to play at like 1360x768, so a 6950 is pure overkill at that resolution, one of these would be more than enough, idk about how the first will do, but it should max, and i know the others will

Even if it is as you say overkill, which I dont think so. If he said (the budget is not too big of a deal ) why would you restrict him to a lowerend card? He might upgrade his monitor later. Then he would be stuck with a lowerend card.
