Hello and thank you for reading.

My problem:

My computer will turn on and get to where window loads and automatically restart. Even Safe Mode does not work.

Cause:

I was trying to reinstall my video card drivers because the colorring looked like crap (Nvidia Gefore 7900 GT, i used the settings wizard and it ruined the graphics i believe) and I went into add remove programs and selected Nvidia Drivers and used it to delete all Nvidia drivers. I did not know that Nvidia drivers included more than just video card drivers, because when i restrted the computer windows would not load!

How do i Fix it?

Thank you!

Use a recovery CD, or reformat probably...

Reformat??? Not when the alternative to restoring the system registry is the "install to repair" method outlined at http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

This method will preserve the current installation by repair and replacement of the essentials in Windows itself. The only time a reformat of a drive is done is when the current installation can not be restored like in the case of a wide spread virus infection or Windows is being totally removed due to too meny problems with system files over a period of time or simply changing the OS from one to another.

It doesn't include more than the video drivers. It sounds like you corrupted your registry (this is evidenced by the fact that you can't go into safe mode either).

To fix it, visit the following link:

Actually yes it can, when you uninstall nvidia drivers and lets say you got an Nforce mobo with an Nforce ethernet card integrated into your mobo..it will ask what you want to uninstall,he more than likely uninstalled all 3 by accident therefore having no motherboard driver,no ethernet driver and no video driver.

Heh, sorry, I didn't read the question thouroughly, my mistake.

Don't worry too much there. Often people will jump at reformatting a drive when something is wrong with Windows. I've run into a few that went as far as using a utility to write binary "0s" to a drive with 98 instead of simply deleting or overwriting the current installation there.

If the effort to restore the registry there fails the option to perform a repair install will get Windows running normally again. While some softwares and drivers for video and sound may have to reinstalled the idea there is to save everything else by repairing Windows without deleting everything else.

the same problem i had before on my pc. Try using other video cards if the same problem will exist. If not, have your video card be checked.

True, but I didn't hear of any mention of anything else other than VGA drivers. Nonetheless, try that repair I mentioned.
