Hey all,
This one's been bugging me, I think I may have damaged the PSU as I had a little leakage since installing the system. All connections are now sound, and I left everything for about 9 hours to make sure it was all dry before I even attempted to turn the system on. When I do, it switches itself off after literally no more than a second and not allow you to switch it back on unless you disconnect from the mains, and when it does decide to boot it gets to the BIOS displaying a message saying the CPU speed setting was to high or something similar and when I try to set it back the thing switches off again
I've tried resetting the CMOS from a friends recommendation but still no joy, so the only thing I can assume is that the water damage was worse than I thought for the PSU. Anyone encountered a similar prob, not necessary related to a WC system ? Full specs in sig ...
