Computer won't come on

I have a dell demension 5100 and I can't get it to turn on.
The power button just blinks twice about every 6 to 10 seconds.
Any ideal what causing it.

Reset the cmos first to see if that fixes it.

Remove the power from the power supply, remove the cmos battery on the motherboard, press the power button on the case a few times to discharge any remaining power, then wait 5 minutes. Then reinsert battery and reconnect power supply and try booting up. Look on the back of the case or front for the 4 diagnostic led lights and tell me what numbers are orange and green.

That didn't work, I don't have diagnostic lead lights on the computer case.

The diagnostic lights are on the front of the case, they are to the right of the headphone and microphone ports.

I know they are there but they're not lit up.
